MADISON COUNTY
Madison County offers a mix of both city and rural living options. There are homes available in and around the bustling cities of Huntsville and Madison, as well as homes with larger amounts of land available in rural parts of the county. There are many residential communities located near Redstone Arsenal and Research Park.

Huntsville

Huntsville is one of the fastest growing communities in Alabama and offers both historic districts and new subdivisions. The city is a cultural epicenter for North Alabama and has a rapidly growing number of retailers and restaurants. In 2008, Huntsville was named one of the Country’s Top 10 Places to Live – by Relocate-America.com and was projected to be one of the Fastest Growing Metros in the Country – by Forbes magazine. Huntsville offers the best of fine and casual dining, with both national chains and locally owned restaurants. There are several fine dining restaurants and cafes in downtown Huntsville, and a huge variety of restaurants located along Memorial Drive and University Drive.

Madison

Madison is a quickly growing community just outside of Huntsville. There are many new residential communities located throughout the city limits, close to the excellent schools that Madison has to offer. Shopping:
Some of the big box retailers located in Madison are Wal-Mart Super Center, Kohls, The Home Depot, Lowe’s, Books-A-Million, and Publix. Madison also has many specialty and locally-owned stores offering everything from couture wedding gowns to one-of-a-kind gifts.

MORGAN COUNTY
Morgan County is located west of Madison County/Huntsville. The county’s major cities include Decatur and Hartselle. The county is bisected by the Tennessee River and features both urban and rural housing choices.

Decatur

LIMESTONE COUNTY
East Limestone County has experienced tremendous growth in recent years. The county has several upscale residential areas including Canebreak Club and Brigadoon Village.

Athens

MARSHALL COUNTY
Lake Guntersville in Marshall County is a favorite vacation and retirement spot. Lakefront houses and land is available in Guntersville, offering great views of the lake and an abundance of water activities. Just south of Huntsville and Madison County, many communities in Marshall County are within commuting distance.
